First time taking photos with a good camera. Yes, it does look more in focus. This photo was taken in my backyard. I placed the leaves in a particular so that it follows the rule of thirds. It was difficult getting the whole picture focused, as I did not have a tripod. 20+attempts for a perfect shot.
Then, I became aware of the B&W mode.
This photo was taken in my backyard. I first took this photo when it was colourful. I used photoshop to make it black and white. It looked awkward. If not for my neighbor, I most likely wouldn't have known about the B&W mode. I went back outside to take this in the correct mode. As someone who enjoys gardening, I find this rose beautiful with drops of water on it. I like flowers...
Up to this point of my life, I never paid attention to any reflections in the water. I still don't, but reflections are beautiful if you observe closely. This week's photo challenge was not too bad as usual. I mainly focused on taking close up shots. It is definitely not an easy thing to keep my hands still while kneeling down on the wet pavement. Colours I went through quite the amount of trouble while taking pictures on coloured objects. I explored several combinations of different objects, yet I was still dissatisfied. Then, I found rocks. A lot of them. This opened up seemingly boundless possibilities in the art of photo-taking, and lead to not too bad results. I had somewhat of an enjoyable time exploring camera settings as well. This week's photos were successful to a certain degree.
